If you don’t yet know what you’re eating before the fast I have the perfect recipe. A split pea lentil soup where all ingredients come from the pantry. Isn’t it exciting to have an easy recipe you can rely on and that you can keep all of the shelf-stable ingredients on hand?
These are all great family recipes, whether you celebrate Purim, are vegan, vegetarian or not. Who doesn’t want a warm, one-pot meal at the end of the day? …Especially when your kids are tugging on your sleeve to get to shul for Megillah and the all-important costume contest!
I’m happy to be coming up for air at the end of an entire month of holidays! In the meantime, even with Succot over, it’s never too late to enjoy a warm, healthy and hearty bowl of soup.
